Our Staff

Jeffrey Dobson 
Funeral Director/Owner

Jeffrey was born in Biddeford, Maine and graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School in 2001. After High School, he received his associate degree in criminal justice and spent time working in Security and Corrections. He also worked as a certified nursing assistant in Biddeford.

Jeffrey is a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford and is a fourth-degree knight with the Knights of Columbus council 12941. He has served on the Biddeford downtown development commission as well as the Biddeford historic preservation commission. Jeffrey currently serves on the Maine State Board of Funeral Service.

In 2010, Jeffrey decided to go back to school and enrolled at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, where he graduated with honors. He has worked at funeral homes in Portland, Boston, and Dover N.H.  He is currently a licensed Funeral Director in both Maine and New Hampshire.
Jeffrey lives in Biddeford with his daughter Josephine and wife Emily he looks forward to working with members of the community in which he lives and works. Being local, our family has known many people in the community for many years. We hope our local presence will provide families that have suffered a loss a sense of peace, knowing that we will be there for them when they need it most.

Michelle Tardif
Office Manager

Michelle is a 1996 graduate of Biddeford High School and was a standout player on the school’s field hockey team. She received an associate degree in liberal studies at York County Community College.

For the last decade, Michelle has been greeting and serving customers at Oak Street Bistro in Alfred. She lives in Lebanon with her fiancé, Sean, and devotes her life to her two children, Katelyn and Ayden. In her spare time, Michelle loves riding motorcycles.
As office manager, Michelle will assist the funeral directors and manage the daily task of the funeral home. She will also make sure that the families who call on us are provided with exceptional care and service.
We are extremely lucky to have her as she is highly devoted to our mission of making sure families have an option for compassionate and affordable funeral and cremation services.

Dana Ingham
Funeral Attendant

Dana is a Lifelong resident of Kennebunk.Dana graduated from Kennebunk High School, Dana Married his Wife Betty in 1978 and they have 2 Children and 6 Grandchildren.Dana held several Jobs in his early years working as a Mechanic for Exxon and local garages before landing a job with CYRO Industries in Sanford where he spent 30 years as a Lead Operator manufacturing a rainbow of Plastic products, both in Sanford and Niagara Falls, Canada. This is where he became interested in being a Firefighter and he joined the Fire Brigade there. He then Joined the Kennebunk Volunteer Fire Department where he spent 32 Years as a Firefighter /Advanced EMT and spent 25 years as a Deputy Chief there. His Love of Helping others carries on today still working as a Firefighter / EMT for the Community of Limerick, totaling almost 44 years in public service.

It is that caring attitude that brought him to work as a Funeral Attendant for the past year and a half. Assisting families, transferring their loved ones in to the care of the funeral home, and assisting with
funerals.

Dana’s Hobby’s include playing his stringed instruments, working on projects in his wood shop and going places in his Antique cars.

Michael “Mike” Bouthot
Funeral Attendant

Mike is a retired purchasing manager for a construction company based in Sanford, where he worked for 20 years. Mike previously spent a decade making pizza at the former TJ’s Pizza in Biddeford. In his early
years, he was district manager of Radio Shack in Biddeford.

Mike is well-known in the Biddeford area. A graduate of Biddeford High School, Mike was a standout athlete on the school’s baseball, football, and basketball teams. His love of sports led him to become a Western Maine umpire for 20 years. He umpired games for the local Little League, high school, college, and semi-pro teams. He is also a member of the Wolves Club in Sanford.

As a funeral attendant, Mike will assist families at funeral services, and perform transfers of people who have recently passed away into the care of the funeral home.

Mike lives in Alfred with his wife, Diane. He is a proud father of his son, Brian Bouthot, and stepchildren,Stephen Tardif and Michelle Tardif.

Meghan Donnell
Funeral Attendant

Meghan was born in York, Maine and currently resides in Limerick, Maine. She graduated from Noble High School in 2011 and shortly after started her decade long career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Technician for long term care and end of life facilities.

She is currently registered through AAMA as a Registered Medical Assistant II which she obtained through an apprenticeship program at SMCC and Southern Maine Healthcare, where she is currently employed. She is a member of the Peer Support Committee that supports the increased mental health complications within the community, which she is very passionate about. She will be continuing her degree in Funeral Service Education in hopes of fulfilling a fulltime position as a Funeral Director/ Mortician in the years to come.

Meghan is compassionate, organized, structured and brings a sense of tranquility to the team. With her copious years in healthcare, she is very skilled when conversing with families during difficult times and has the knowledge to work hand and hand with other colleagues during the transition period with the deceased.

When she is not pursuing her career you will find her indulging in home cooked recipes, working on art projects, spending quality time with her family, friends, beloved cat Zoe and going to live music events. When the weather permits, she will be found in the woods hunting and hiking.

She believes Dobson Family Funeral & Cremation Services is an incredible asset to the community and is excited to see what the future holds working alongside such a great team.
