Sandra Edith Bradstreet
March 14,1959-December 20, 2023
Our beloved mother ascended with the angels to heaven on Dec 20, 2023. She passed beyond the veil peacefully with her daughter at her side.
She was born March 14,1959 in Calais, ME. The only child of Paul Ravere Bradstreet and Edith Nell Huntley Bradstreet of Wesley,ME. She grew up in Washington County where she met her late husband Gerald Colby Richardson Sr (Jerry) with whom she shared a 25-year marriage until his death in 2004.
She preceded in death by her son Allen Richardson of Urbana, OH. She is survived by her son Paul Bradstreet of NH, daughters Edith Bridges and family of Machias, ME Peggy Richardson of Machias, ME and Caden Lenoci of Akron, OH along with her grandchildren Jesse, John,Sean, Michael, Shelby, Madelyn, Bryan, Elesia and Hayleigh and great grandchildren Paxton, Anthony and Brayleigh her boyfriend Dale Colbert of Caribou, ME who she shared much love with, and last but not least a very special and dear friend (sister) Susannah Sprague of Portland whom she loved very much and made the godmother of her youngest child Caden.
In her late 30s she dreamt of becoming a forensic anthropologist because she was fascinated by the way criminals where caught and brought to justice by using forensic science, but her health started to decline and she was unable to finish college. She thought very highly of Dr. Bill Bass the creator of the anthropology department at the university of Knoxville, TN also known as the body farm and admired his work. She enjoyed reading murder mysteries by Agatha Christie along with many others and every Stephen King book to date. She loved crime shows, Jeff Dunham, Scooby-Doo and music. She was an animal lover and had a strong belief in God.
She enjoyed watching her children grow up and spending time with them. She had a very unique since of humor and could always make her youngest laugh they had a strong bond that not even death could break.
She was proud of her children and the accomplishments they made. She will be missed beyond measure; her wings were ready but our hearts were not
