Robert Francoeur

Robert Edmund Francoeur – Our beloved father passed away peacefully on October 29, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

Robert was born in Biddeford, ME, to Paul and Dolores Francoeur on August 2, 1962. He grew up in Kennebunkport and attended Kennebunk Schools, which is where he chose to spend his life and raise his family.

Robert worked for Portland and Safelite Glass as a Glass Technician for many years before he decided to work closer to home at local glass companies until he became self-employed. In his spare time, he enjoyed being/working outdoors, riding his tractor and making beautiful trails in the woods of his property. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Robert had a heart of gold for his loved ones, especially his two children and then grandchild. Robert was a wonderful and compassionate father to his children and taught them to be strong, gracious, caring and courageous as he was. He loved them very dearly and would do anything for them, which they will never forget.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Delores Francoeur, and also his brother, Raymond Francoeur.

He is survived by his daughter Ashley McGahey, son Kyle Francoeur, grandson Cyler McGahey, brother Richard Francoeur and wife Keema, sister Paula Nompleggi and husband John, and brother Ronald Francoeur, along with many nieces, nephews and friends, who will all greatly miss him.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring. Details to follow.
