Robert J. Druan Jr. “Bob”, of Ayer, formerly of Hyde Park. Born on February 25,1960 passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2025, while vacationing in Maine, a place he dearly loved to visit.

Born to the late Robert J. Sr. and Eleanor C. (Kucherer) Druan. Bob was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was predeceased by his sister Allyson Lavigne (2023) and brother-in-law Paul F Hastings Sr. (2004).

Bob leaves behind his longtime companion Amy French. His sisters, Susette Wight and her husband Daniel of Maine, Julie Hastings-Quattrochio and her husband Donald of Maine. Robert also leaves behind eight nieces and nephews, and eleven great nieces and nephews who will remember him with much love and affection.

Bob had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, he especially enjoyed fishing and singing Karaoke. He cherished time spent with family and friends, particularly during vacations on Cape Cod and in Maine. A dedicated professional, he worked for many years with Light and Leisure in Milford, MA, and later as a regional representative for KeHE in New England. He was a loyal fan of all Boston sports teams. Bob also enjoyed relaxing with an occasional Miller Lite in hand. Bob had a big heart and a bigger sense of humor; he will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.

A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
