Mary Lou Dyer

Old Orchard Beach-Mary Lou (Landry) Dyer, 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 13, 2024, at Cape Memory Care after a lengthy and tough battle with dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. She was in the loving and caring presence of the staff at Cape Memory and Beacon Hospice.

A beloved mother to a daughter and son. She was married to Scott W. Dyer Sr., and they had just celebrated 56 years together. She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy and cherished memories that will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is predeceased by her parents Irene (Goddard) Landry and Jules (Jack) Landry. She is also predeceased by her stepfather Ronald (Slim) Kilbreth and stepmother Eleanor (Lannon) Landry. Also, by her sister Gloria (Landry) Walker and one brother Kenneth Landry.

Mary Lou is survived by her husband Scott W. Dyer Sr., daughter and son-in-law Tammy (Landry) and Richard Lambert, son Scott Dyer Jr. and partner Laura Lee Woodward. She is also survived by her brother Dennis and Jaunita Landry, brother Ronald and Janice Landry and her sister in-law Frances (Crockett) Landry. Mary Lou also leaves behind four grandchildren Tabitha (Lambert) and her husband Jeffrey Brown, Brendin Lambert and longtime partner Cressi Hawthorne, Devin and Sarah (Gilpatric) Lambert, and Elicia Dyer.
Also five great grandchildren Lola Brown, Nevaeh Brown, Kayden Brown, Silas and Blaze, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
