Kevin Caddigan

Kevin Joseph Caddigan, 66, of Dayton, Maine, was born July 4, 1959, to Elinor Pauline (O'Sullivan) Caddigan and Daniel Joseph Caddigan in Biddeford, Maine. Kevin passed away after a brief illness on May 21, 2026.

He was a 1977 graduate of Thornton Academy. Kevin retired from a decades-long career at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Recently, he married his loving partner of more than two decades, Toni Aldrich.

He found joy in reading the newspaper and watching sports. He especially enjoyed following the New England sports teams. Kevin had a great sense of humor. He and his brothers would often exchange jokes, providing him with a constant source of new material. He took great pride in his Irish heritage and enjoyed being with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Toni Aldrich of Dayton, Maine; his granddaughter, Chloe Corriveau of Kennebunk, Maine; his sister, Sheila (Caddigan) Caouette, and husband Ted Caouette of Winthrop, Maine; his brothers, Thomas Caddigan and wife Diane (Perron) Caddigan of Saco, Maine, and William Caddigan and partner Susan Kany of Bethel, Maine and Cambridge, Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews.

Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 11:00AM at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 525 Elm St., Biddeford, Maine.
