Katrina Richards Obituary (1976 - 2024)

Katrina April Richards 1976 - 2024 Rumford - Katrina A. Richards died unexpectedly on June 21, 2024. Katrina was born on October 1, 1976, in Norway Maine. She was pre-deceased by her parents Deborah Garey and Bradley Swan, Grandparents Ivan and Edith Garey. She is survived by her beloved dog Shiloh, long time partner Jimmy Trenoweth, Grampie Lance Delano of Peru, brother Aaron Garey and his partner (special SIL) Melody Spiotta of Peru, sister Delanna Garey of Dixfield, 1 niece Molly Garey, several bonus nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Katrina went Peru Elementary school for k-8 and Graduated Oxford Hills High School in 1996. She had a brief marriage, where she became a dog mom. Katrina loved animals specifically, cats and dogs. She loved them as though they were her children and enjoyed spoiling them. She would often be seen around town carrying or walking her little dog. Katrina enjoyed her fun days and going to the jam sessions with Jimmy, family get togethers’ and laughing with friends. Katrina was kind, compassionate, and loving. She cared more about the people in her lives than she did her own self. She struggled and worked really hard to overcome adversities in life and was in her own right a success story. Although she will be gravely missed by her family there is solace in knowing she is reunited with her mother whom she longed so very much for. A private grave side service will be held at a later date.
