Daniel Vieira

Wells-Daniel Vieira, born on February 11, 1962, in Melrose, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

He was the cherished son of David and Marcia Vieira and was the eldest sibling of six children, with four brothers and one sister.

As a boy, he grew up in a simpler world, yet he possessed a tough spirit that never shied away from a challenge, always accompanied by a quick smile and laughter.

From a young age, Dan carried a sense of wanderlust in his heart, calling many places home, but always finding solace in his mother’s farmhouse in Wells, Maine.
Though he never found his soulmate in this world, his love for family and genuine concern for others defined his life.

Dan’s generosity knew no bounds, as he would willingly give his last dime to those in need. His love for animals, music, and art ran deep. Dan’s artistic talent was boundless, whether he wielded a paintbrush or a pencil. When Dan started in on a piece of work, it was like he became ten feet tall, soaring like an eagle and transforming his canvas, bringing to life visions of unparalleled beauty.

The world has indeed lost a true talent. For those privileged to know him as a son, brother, or friend, life will never be the same. Though his absence brings a sense of loss, we are forever grateful for the positive impact he had on our lives.
Dan will be deeply missed and forever loved. As a member of a loving and happy family, Dan departed this world enriched in the truest sense of the word. May he rest in peace.
