Bonnie Carr

With heavy hearts, we announce that our beautiful Bon-Bon, Bonnie Lee Carr, peacefully joined her mother and son, surrounded by her loving family, on December 6, 2025. She was born on September 21, 1956, to Peter and Mary Carr.

Bonnie loved and lived life to the fullest. Her favorite times were spent singing and dancing with her tambourines, joined by her family and friends. She was truly a freespirt and the life of the party.

She recently and unexpectedly lost her beloved son, Paul Carr, on July 19, 2024. She leaves behind her daughter, Pamela Sampson; son-in-law, Mike; grandchildren, Kaylyn Shennett, Garrett Sampson, Hunter, Gage, Aubrey, and Avayah Carr; great-granddaughter, Quincy Shennett; brothers, Daniel Carr and Dellbert Ray; sisters, Rose Rowe, Stephanie Walker, Kathy Boynton, and Penny Friree; nieces, Roxanne Pearl and Bridget Condon; nephews, Peter Rowe, Glen Rowe, Thomas Boucher, Michael and Derick Dion, Nathan, Darian, and Evan Ray; stepbrothers, stepsisters, and many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind her special kitties, Minoue and Spanky.

She was predeceased by her mother, Mary; father, Peter; stepfather, Dellbert; son, Paul; and brothers, Glen and William Carr, as well as her brother-in-law Richard Rowe.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pastime Club, 45 Cedar St., Lewiston, ME, on January 24, 2026, at 4:30 PM.
