Anthony Joseph "Tony" Patino, 48, of Portland, Maine, passed away on March 17, 2024. He was born on June 11, 1975, in Glendale, California, to Pamela Beard and Benjamin Patino.
Tony, as he was affectionately known, was a man of many talents and passions. He attended Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School and pursued a successful career as a chef, working at various restaurants. He took great pride in his culinary creations and aspired to open his own taco truck/stand to share his love for authentic Californian Mexican food in Maine.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tony was a vibrant and outgoing individual. He was witty, hilarious, and deeply emotional, always the life of the party and a jokester among his many friends. He had a curious mind, enjoyed late-night conversations, and was a true artist at heart, finding joy in drawing, painting, and creating things.
In his free time, Tony indulged in his hobbies, which included rock hounding, stone stacking, fishing, kayaking, and watching movies. He was an avid music listener and loved spending time outdoors. Tony cherished his family above all else and had a special bond with his children, Ariana, Bella, and Christian, as well as his siblings, Eric and Angela.
Tony is survived by his parents, Pamela and Ben, his stepmother, Marion, and his children and siblings. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Benjamin.
A ceremony to honor Tony's memory will take place with his ashes being spread in June Lake, California, fulfilling his final wish. There will be no formal service, but the family will gather to pay their respects and celebrate Tony's life.
Tony's legacy will live on through the stories he shared, the laughter he brought, and the love he showered upon his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.”
